Greetings Survivors,

Aiming to stay transparent and community open, Path of Survival`s team decided to start a series of Monthy Updates organized in Reports.

These Reports will cover what we have done in the past month, recent updates, upcoming events, and important dates. Also, it will keep you, “our precious”, updated.

Announcements

  • We have onboarded a marketing lead — Valdis, with whom we’ve been working on our Go-To-Market strategy and community awareness campaigns.
  • We have been working on this for a while now and it is finally ready to be shown off. A whole new Game UI Design 2.0 has been approved as a draft and we will be aiming to implement it by the end of this year.
  • We are working on a Path of Survival Library which will be your go-to guide when playing.
  • The current ETA for TGE is Q1, 2023 — we decided to postpone our token launch for several reasons :

— The market is still pretty volatile and we would ideally want a plateau that has significant volumes we expect this to be around February to May 2023;

— The game needs to have recurring daily mechanics (e.g. daily quests) and a functional game economy. Our goal is to get these done by the end of Stage 2 and ready for Stage 3;

— We are focusing on building a detailed cross-media campaign to engage our audience and facilitate community awareness and traction, thus releasing our Character NFTs before the $SRV token;

— We want to use this traction to get quality investors on board, release the blockchain integration within the game, release the NFTs which will be used as playable characters (instant utilization of the NFTs), and establish an adequate user base for Stage 2 of the game;

Events

  • We have secured a strategic partnership with Creo Engine where we will list Path of Survival;
  • Our goal within the next couple of months is to secure listings on most trending Dapp stores and “Steam-like” platforms;
  • We have shortlisted a couple of live events which we plan to attend as creators and will be showcasing Path of Survival;

Dev Update

  • Game Design document changes:
    We’ve made some small changes to the game, including adding more items and modifying the layout slightly. We’ve also changed a few of the mechanics and added a couple of new ones. Overall, we think these changes will make for a better play experience.

— Higher experience threshold on the levels between 1 and 25;
— The Poison effect has been adjusted as follows:

a) Deals DOT before each Skill is resolved;
b) Poison DMG = DMG-P.FOC*X;
c) X = 0.1
d) Level increase for X = +0.005

— The Bleeding effect has been adjusted as follows:

a) Stays in effect for the next 3 turns. Each DMG received deals additional % bleeding damage;
b) Bleeding DMG = DMG*X;
c) X = 0.25;
d) Level Increase for X = +0.05;

We’re in the process of finalizing all the artwork and components, and we should have that wrapped up in the next week or two. Once that’s done, we can continue the development of Stage 2 and prepare for the Beta release:

  • Our secondary marketplace has been finalized — Including the drops page, where our NFTs will be sold. The Path of Survival drops has been prepared to handle bot attacks, for a better user experience
  • Path of Survival Library — This library will have everything you need to know about Path of Survival, from the basics of how to get started in the game, to more advanced strategies for surviving and thriving in the wilderness. We want to make sure that this library is comprehensive and easy to use so that you can get the most out of your Path of Survival experience. We are still in the early stages of development for this library, but we have already started putting together some great resources.

In the meantime, be sure to follow us as we will publish other articles, social posts, and announcements regarding Path of Survival`s development processes.

Changes

  • Our CEO Alexander Tomov — will start a series of Bi-weekly updates on Twitter posts — make sure to follow him > link
  • To keep everyone informed about the progress of the game development, our CTO Aleksander Nadjarian will start Bi-weekly development updates — make sure to follow him as well > link
  • We will restructure our Discord channel to implement new perks that will create an entirely new economy directly inside the server to price its participants. Some of these perks will include:

— Weekly Content contest with prices in stable coins (up to 20$);
— Weekly MEME Contests;
— Engagement and participation leaderboard;
— Merchandise Shop;

Goals

We are focused on building a detailed cross-media campaign to engage our audience and facilitate community awareness and traction. We want to use this traction to get quality investors on board, release the blockchain integration within the game, release the NFTs which will be used as playable characters (instant utilization of the NFTs) and move towards TGE.

We have a lot of things in the works and we are confident that with everyone’s support, we can push through and achieve our goals!
