Educational Opportunities through NARPM

Based in Plano, Texas, Pathlight Property Management manages 6,300 homes in more than 30 major markets throughout the United States. Several members at Pathlight Property Management belong to the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM).

From a membership of 13 people in 1988, the National Association of Residential Property Managers has grown into a nationwide organization with over 5,200 members. Dedicated to advocacy and the principles of professionalism, honesty, and compliance, the organization is open to professionals and affiliates of the industry. To support and further the careers of its members, it offers a number of educational programs.

Led by NARPM members, the educational programs award certifications like Master Property Manager, Certified Residential Management Bookkeeper, and Certified Support Specialist. There are different levels of courses, depending on the member designation; many courses with six hours of class instruction and fewer are available to take online. The eight-hour courses are not currently available in the NARPM online portal.

Additionally, the National Association of Residential Property Managers hosts several webinars throughout the year. Although the classes are open to members and nonmembers alike, the free webinars are open to members only.
