Before you get to thinking you really are at the back of the class, Marsha, you really have to look at the way your last few pieces read like poems: those terse lines, the way a reader leaps with you from one logical conclusion to the next.

And what I find most compelling in these posts — in all your writing, really — is the way you compress so much into just the right telling details. That’s really hard to do.

And it’s poetic.
