Cloud — A Natural Setting Nonnet
Jackie Ann

I’d highlight the whole thing if I could, Jackie Ann. The way you get rhymes out of live, whispering, mist, crisp kiss, and spirit — I want to say that this rhyme threaded through the poem the way it is creates the movement, the sense of movement, I get while reading those last six lines. Can rhymes move? Make the language slippery, so you can’t help yourself but wind up obeying the last line’s command? Here, they do. Thanks for this.
