We come from a long line of organisms that survived long enough to procreate. Billions of years of single celled, multi-celled, fish, mammals, primates, man. Every single living creature strove so, so, so hard to live. 
It’s basically impossible to get over this. We just have a few centimeters of neurons to try and deal with that :)
I think if you face life and death enough, you can chill out about this. Getting older helps too. Experiences, neural wiring, hormone levels, and societal pressures all change to let you chill out more if you so choose.
