  1. Really? Not one? https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/volokh-conspiracy/wp/2015/10/03/do-civilians-with-guns-ever-stop-mass-shootings/ I could also pull up a video from ABC new, but I’m not going to waste my time searching for it. Notice that neither are known for their NRA biases.
  2. I won’t leave a link here, but guns aren’t high tech. It’s possible to download plans to make your own with hardware store items and without expensive tools. So, people who risk their lives to follow the complicated procedures to make Meth won’t make guns? I don’t think so.
  3. Whether this is true, 2/3 of “victims” of gun homicides have criminal records. Criminals are by and large killing each other.
  4. Sweden. Sword. Yesterday. In fact, according to the FBI, more people were killed by knives (not including blunt instruments which were about equal to knives) than rifles of any sort, even the “scary assault weapons”.
  5. Imagine that in the next election, somehow, a neo-nazi wins. Would you want a gun then? We’re always very close to someone sneaking past the voters. Has it happened yet? No. Will it ever happen? Ask Germany about their elected chancellor right before World War II.

Your arguments are short on facts and long on feelings. Oh, and Mother Jones isn’t a good source to convince people who disagree with it.
