Here’s a suggestion — don’t compare a 100+ year old legacy media business to Amazon, Spotify and Netflix, three companies who don’t make any money and probably never will.

Say what you will about the Times, but at least it once turned a profit and makes an effort. God forbid someone thinks their work is worth paying for.
