Yeah, I read it. Also noted the guy who made some of the comment’s wasn’t yet even born when guys were posting better numbers at a younger age against better competition. I don’t think he’s getting the full scope of looking into watching the games and looking at what’s actually being played. To be clear, yes, for the minutes he plays…at his age (both caveats!) he does very well.

But for all ages and for his own team…his stats aren’t great. He’s not even a starter for his own team.

Talented, sure, but he’s even a regular starter for his team. Call it what you want, but, for my money, it’s really hard to call someone a “star” when they don’t start on their own team.

He could be best player ever to play, but he’s not at all close right now. Nor, IMO, a star.
