Never Say ‘Final’ Again

When we make a video and are working with various members of the team — sometimes bringing outside members in to fulfil certain roles — we make sure we never label anything as the ‘final’ version. There are a couple of reasons.

It’s dispiriting to call something final only to spot a glaring error and have to re-name it (Final 2? Final 27?).

It’s also quite often the case that you might adapt a project a few months later and go through the renaming process again.

So we always advocate numbering sequentially, or alphabetically. It might seem common sense, but it’s surprising how many times I see assets called ‘final’ which need reworking.

We make all sorts of viral content for all sorts of companies. If you’d like to have fun and work with us, call 00 44 7779 780 736 or email paul@handface.co.uk.
