There was a small, but fascinating, detail revealed at a recent BrightTalk panel I attended on content marketing. It marked the first time I had heard the phrase ‘third screen’, to denote the fact that US consumers are now often using 2.42 devices at the same time. This was revealed by research done by Adobe, and there’s more on it in an article by Venturebeat’s Stewart Rogers — who made me aware of this phrase on the panel — here.
What this means in simple terms is that your content really needs to stand out if you are battling in a market where users are watching a TV, and using a tablet and another mobile device at the same time.

We make all sorts of shareable content for all sorts of clients. If you’d like to have fun and work with us, email paul@handface.co.uk or call 00 44 7779 780 736.
