How crypto community managers can stop bad actors from archiving channels

One of our partners told me today that someone inside their community archived a channel — they assumed it wasn’t possible to prevent this from happening. You can prevent this. Until I write a short manual for community managers, consider this my second pro tip.

  1. Select your team name at the top of the screen.

2. Select “Team Settings”

3. Select “Permissions

4. Select “Channel Management”

My recommendation to community managers is to lock this down as much as possible. Don’t just prevent bad actors from archiving channels — go through the settings on this page and make sure you don’t leave any other windows open.

☞ I’m guessing a lot of communities are open to this type of breach, please tap or click “👏” (you can clap more than once) to let Paul and others know that you appreciated this post. Your clap will also bring this post to the attention of more community managers so they can also put a stop to the bad guys from doing harm.
