Let me share a few thoughts…
I work in OS X for a few years for now & I really enjoy using it on a daily basis (iMac 27" + Retina MBP 13"). New Yosemite look & feel seems to be more organic & much more closer to iOS, and as a result eco-system feels, again, much more organic.
Nevertheless, I’m so frustrated when I encounter yet another lags\bugs\visual bugs. This makes me feel, that Apple forgot how to polish things & deliver the best of the best. This is a bit awkward.
My first OS X was hackintosh 10.8 [summer 2012] I can’t remember myself complaining about it as much as about current gen.
So, how is it possible to claim that you’re creatring the most advanced, the most researched devices on Earth, but my Retina MBP still laggy as hell? Well, you know, almost nothing works at 60fps. Non-retina iMac performs much better, but still I can see so called twitching without doing something special or overloading it.
Same could be told about iOS…
Am i doing something wrong? Do you feel the same? Share your thoughts.
Update March 6, 2015:
Working on iMac 5k.. Still lags, micro freezes. ☹
