An Introduction to PEEPS

Hello and welcome PEEPlievers!
This is the first publication that is an introductory letter to our community on who we are and what we intend to build for the future.
The PEEPS team
We are a team of jpeg enthusiasts that are fascinated by the culture created by NFTs. Some of us have been in the crypto space for quite some time and really enjoyed the experience of collecting NFTs and the interaction with other folks within the space.
With that in mind, we decided to get our hands dirty on the creation side, making collections that emphasize the story-telling part of NFT space.
No roadmap, no promises, just pixels… like when we first started collecting NFTs
We hope you all will remember this journey with us.
PEEPS as a brand
We chose the name “PEEPS” as the branding since it is one of the most common wordplays in NFT space.
The word “PEEPS” has become a term that resonates well with our love for the meme culture and all the humor that came along with it.
Our creations, the PEEPs, are tour guides that play the role of welcoming newcomers to the PEEPS World.
PEEPS — An original story
In PEEPS World, PEEPs are little creatures that resemble everyday objects or things or concepts that we all are familiar with.
No one knows when and how they came into existence. What we know is that they live on a far away planet and are the survivors of the fittest throughout the history (as stated in PEEPS Chronicles).
Just like humans, they have learned how to create tools and maintain social interactions that are essential to building a society.
As it turns out, the PEEPs have created an ultramodern civilization, one that is more technologically advanced than the homo sapiens’, especially with the discovery of magic.
And… the story begins…
