In a few weeks it is time for the yearly Online-Educa Berlin conference 🇩🇪. It has been cemented as one of the most important and interesting conferences in Europe about instructional technology and digital learning.
With a conference that grows bigger year after year, it is becoming increasingly difficult to figure out which things to check out. Beyond all the impressive speakers, there is a long list of technology companies exhibiting at OEB. In this blog post, we are shining the spotlight 💡 on the ones we definitely don’t think you should miss!
🇫🇷 Edunao
Moodle is THE most widely used digital campus solution (Learning Management System, or LMS) in the world. Edunao is a Moodle Partner fully established in France, and serves academic institutions, training organizations and companies throughout the French-speaking world. They help expand on the already great functionality of Moodle by adding extra things such as: course formats, templates and tools, learning activities & modules, academic (notes, reports, OPCA extractions) and technical (interfaces, plugins, components, etc.) administration elements.

🇳🇱 Grasple
Grasple is an online platform that enables teachers in Higher Education to find and create openly licensed exercises and easily share them with colleagues and students. The project started when the founders built out https://www.ihatestatistics.com/ which became a popular resource for teaching statistics in higher education.

🇮🇳 Acadly
Acadly is a free class platform for instant roll calls and engaging live classroom activities. They can help you check attendance quickly, host your polls and quizzes and discussions. The way the app tracks attendance is very interesting — they use a mesh network approach where the devices of students in the classroom detects which other devices are nearby. This way students don’t have to be on the WiFi network, and you don’t have to be close to them with your own device to track that they are in the room 🤖.

🇩🇰 Actee
With a focus on learning games, Actee is providing training within change, leadership and communication. The company was founded by Leif Sørensen and more than 250.000 people have played their games so far! Everything they do is centered one building motivation — because it’s a simple fact of life that learning is so much more effective when people are really engaged and involved! You should definitely check them out, and maybe you can even get to play one of their games 😬.

🇩🇰 Eduflow
Of course, we also think you should come by and check out our own booth if you are coming to OEB. We will be at L6 presenting our tool for building and running incredible learning experiences — supporting everything from onboarding new people, over sales training to supporting students in online collaboration.

Hope to see you in Berlin 👋
