We’ve recently started a launch campaign to welcome new users and to reward our early supporters. In this campaign, you’ll be able to work together with other users to create “warrior guilds” and increase your earnings. Below is a quick guide on how to stake on PenPad, a prerequisite for participating in the campaign and earning $PDD rewards.
Registering an account:
1.First, visit our official website — https://penpad.io
2.Next, click on the Launch tab.
3.Click “Connect” to connect to your desired wallet. This article uses MetaMask as an example, but many other wallets are supported, including Trust and OKX Wallet.
4.Once your wallet is connected, click “Scroll” to switch to the Scroll network. If your wallet has not added the Scroll network yet, MetaMask will automatically add it for you when you click “Approve.”
5.Once you’ve successfully connected, click on “Profile” to verify your identity. You can connect your Google, Twitter, or GitHub account to verify yourself.
6.Let’s connect a Google account as an example. Just click on the “Verify” button and choose your Google account.
7.Finally, pay the gas and confirm the transaction in your wallet.
Staking:
This season, we’re giving away 6% of the total token supply, or 6 million $PDD tokens, with the goal of raising 401 ETH. $PDD tokens will be distributed based on a sliding scale, where the more you participate, the more tokens you’ll be able to receive — all at increasingly favorable prices!
$PDD will be distributed to “warriors” proportional to their efforts in comparison to our entire community of users. To earn more points and to obtain a more favorable entry point to $PDDs, you can invite friends to your warrior guild or simply stake more ETH. Not only will you get more $PDD for less, but by participating in the campaign seasons, you’ll get airdrops from top projects as they launch on Scroll!
- To begin, click on the “Staking” tab.
Deposit at least 0.05 ETH into Penpad’s launch pool. This will automatically grant you 100 points, and then an extra 20 points for each additional 0.05 ETH deposited, thus raising your rank on the leaderboard.
2.Then, enter the amount of ETH you want to stake and click “Stake.”
3.Finally, confirm the transaction in your wallet. Now your ETH is staked.
Warriors will also get a boost in their staking rewards for staking in the first seven days that staking is live. Here is the bonus breakdown for those days:
Joining a team:
You can join a team by entering a friend’s invitation code. When you’re part of a team, everyone in that team earns boosted points.
Note: You can only be part of one team, so choose wisely or start your own!
PenPad Warriors who deposit more than 0.5 ETH will receive an exclusive referral code which they can use to build their warrior guild. Anyone who uses that code and deposits at least 0.05 ETH will automatically become part of the guild, and the inviter will receive 10% of the points earned by the invitee for the lifetime of the campaign!
As the guild gains more points and power, all members will receive extra boosts for their points. Every time the total ETH staked by a guild increases by 1 ETH, ALL warriors in the guild will be given a chance to receive a special boost in points through a random drawing.
Viewing the leaderboard
On the Leaderboard, you can:
-View the Top 100 rankings
-View your points and the total amount of ETH staked
-View your team’s points and total ETH staked
Users can accumulate more points by staking ETH, inviting friends, and joining warrior guilds with new wallet addresses. To keep things fair, remember that you are limited to one address per warrior guild and each address can only create one guild.
The more active you are in the campaign, the more $PDD you’ll receive while also enjoying lower $PDD prices at the same time. The points you earn will determine what tier of rewards you’ll be eligible for. This table provides a clear reference to understand the rewards at each tier.
