My version of the recipes I found online combined:

  • 1½ cups almond, coconut, or soy milk

Easy sub — regular milk

  • ½ avocado
  • 1 banana
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract (or mint leaves)
  • 1½ to 2 tablespoons raw cacao powder or ground raw or dark chocolate


  • Handful of spinach or kale
  • Unsweetened shredded coconut garnish
  • If you want extra protein, adding powder works with this recipe
