Singapore, 9th October 2018Peoplewave, Asia’s leading HR software company powered by blockchain technology, has today announced Matthew Streeton as Chief Operating Officer. This role was created to lead Peoplewave’s international expansion while providing a deep level of operational excellence as the company moves from a start-up to a scale-up in the Asia Pacific region.

Matthew is a business leader with over 30 years’ experience, working across six countries. His experience includes twelve years as an accomplished UK diplomat, navigating challenging relationships and diverse political environments. After leaving the diplomatic service, he became an entrepreneur, then a banker, then finally moved into the Human Resources field where he rose to become the recognised business leader he is today.

Having lived and operated across many countries, he’s developed an excellent understanding of working with people of different backgrounds and experiences. Right before joining Peoplewave, Matthew was the Regional Managing Director of an award-winning recruitment company in Singapore, responsible for talent acquisition and recruitment across the Asia Pacific region. He sits on the General Committee of the Singapore Cricket Club and, until recently, was on the Singapore Committee of the Association of Professional Staffing Companies (APSCo). In this role, he advised the Singapore Government on people management and recruitment industry matters.
