Lost in Eden
This concept is inspired from the book of Genesis, chapter 2 & 3. Most of us are aware about this story (Garden of Eden), It is about two humans Adam and Eve, who are in a garden surrounded by trees with all kinds of fruits, they were told that they can eat any kind of fruit that they wish except for one, the tree of knowledge of good and evil. But us humans are born rebels and we are always tempted by the serpent to do something that we are not supposed to. Eve decided to eat the apple and also shared it with Adam which caused a huge problem, they didn’t respect the orders that were given to them hence they were punished. Why is this story important? Because we all should know that if something bad is happening to us, it is because we are doing something wrong and we should blame our self for that, we should take it as a positive lesson and start working on our flaws instead of complaining about it.

The reason I picked this story for my shoot is because I always blamed God for all the terrible things that were happening to me, I would also blame Adam and Eve for committing a sin in the first place and we all are suffering because of them. I always imagine how life would be if they wouldn’t have eaten the apple. We would all be in peace and there would be no wars, no corruption, no racism. Life would be like a fairy tale. Well, that’s not possible now, because we can’t change past.
I always come across this phrase, “Who runs the World? Girls”, and I always think, damn that’s so true. Women are highly impact-full and it’s obvious that they are the ones who influence most of our decisions. But again, they can misuse their power, that’s why god made men who are there to look out for them and keep them under control.

When you look at the pictures, I want you to relax and put yourself in the shoes of eve (well not literally because they didn’t have shoes at that time haha) and imagine what you would do if you were placed in the Garden of Eden?
