How @BradmanTV is Helping Independent Artists on Periscope
A Story of Serendipity
For those of you who don't know, @BradmanTV, or Bradman, is one of the Most Loved broadcasters on Twitter’s live streaming app Periscope.
Our mission at Periscope Global, the world’s first marketing and PR firm exclusively for Periscope users, is to promote independent art everywhere. Last week, one of our PeriScouts found the very talented @NeekzMuszic playing piano, singing and broadcasting live from Union Square in New York City.
Our founder David Polanco noticed Bradman was also broadcasting from Union Square. He quickly entered Bradman’s stream and urged him to walk over to Neekz. The rest is Periscope magic.
Bradman walks up to Neekz and asks if he can promote her. He enters her broadcast and invites his thousands of followers. The room fills up with hundreds of people throughout the night all showing their support by sending hearts and leaving encouraging comments. Her follower count grows each second as her voice wins over new fans. Seeing this all unfold live was exhilarating.
Bradman stuck around to watch her perform in the park and continued to use his influence to promote Neekz, ultimately inviting her to perform at New York Scope Week in September, the first ever large-scale Periscope meetup and convention. This opportunity could possibly catapult Neekz’s music career and potentially change her life, and we are honored to have been a part of it.
But Bradman wasn’t done. He then entered the first ever @PeriscopeGlobal broadcast and invited all of his followers, connecting David with Periscope royalty, such as @GrantCardone, and new potential partners and supporters. This flooded the stream with hundreds of viewers and thousands of hearts, helping us grow an audience base to launch this new initiative.
This was a perfect example of the power of Periscope: uniting fans and users with artists and influencers. Or put more plainly, connecting people of all types from all over the globe. Our job at Periscope Global is to make it easier for everyone to discover, share and create quality content by featuring artists every day and offering them premium marketing and PR services to elevate their reach.
