Nice write, I fully agree. BTW, I encountered no words in your text which I would need to look up.

I understand the description of a new memory, and I agree it is a fine visualisation to be used as such in your text; but is this really a known fact? 
”When you learn a new word, an electrical signal travels through a neural pathway in your brain which you perceive as a memory. This event is perceived as a new memory if that neural pathway has never been traveled, and as an existing memory if it has. The more times this pathway is traversed by an electrical signal, the easier it will be for your brain to recall.”
