An even better way to find the free photos you need and browse the Pexels library for inspiration.

We’ve updated and streamlined the way search results are displayed on Pexels — you can try out the new search experience right here.

The new search page has several exciting changes which make it easier than ever to discover visual content on Pexels.

Three tabs at the very top of the page make it fast and simple to switch between searching for photos, videos, and users. (Side note: Did you know you can search for users on Pexels? You can use this search area to browse photographers in a certain area, or to find out which photographers you know have Pexels profiles.)

We’ve also made it easier to browse through photos relevant to your search interests, in case your first query doesn’t yield the results you need — or if you want more inspiration around a similar topic. Popular search terms will now include related terms in a bar at the top of the results page.

For example, if you’ve searched for nature, maybe you’re also interested in checking out the results for terms like landscape, forest, or flowers.

We hope that these improvements will make your Pexels search experience more effective and more interesting, too.

Do you have feedback on the new page, or other ideas about ways we could make Pexels better? We’d love to hear from you! Feel free to reach out via Instagram or Twitter.
