Supermint Trait “Phantom Catalyst” NFTs coming soon — apply traits to generative NFTs
Rangers, we’re introducing an exciting new collection of Phantom Catalyst NFTs which will soon grace the skies of Phantom Galaxies! Your Planet, Starfighter and Avatar Mintpasses are all generative — this means the minting process will include random generative elements, to provide unique, distinctive attributes for in-game items. However, by including Phantom Catalyst NFTs in the Supermint process, you will be able to influence the traits of your Planets, Starfighters or Avatars!
Each of these Phantom Catalysts will be acquired through special means which can include (but are not limited to) competitions and in-game quest completion.
Each Phantom Catalyst NFT will apply to a specific type of Mintpass (Starfighter, Avatar or Planet). Each NFT will apply one or more traits to the relevant generative NFT during the Supermint process.
Who will receive Phantom Catalyst NFTs?
Phantom Catalyst NFT drops are currently planned for the following NFT holders:
- The Hopeful — Both Avatar Gender Catalysts, one random Starfighter Class Catalyst
- Zorran’s Favour — All Avatar Catalysts (four Genetic Base, two Gender), plus Zorran’s Googles NFT (an Accessory to be distributed at a later date)
- Complete Posters (Redeemed + Unredeemed) and Medals set — Rare Planet Catalyst
- AR Progress Tracker — One random Starfighter Class Catalyst, one random Avatar Genetic Base Catalyst
- AR Trophy — All four Starfighter Class Catalysts
- Planet Founders — Planet Catalysts, more details below (additional Rare Planet Catalysts for top Planet tiers)

Players who own a Planet Founders NFT or hold all posters and medal sets will be airdropped the following Phantom Catalysts:

What are Planet Phantom Catalyst’s meanings and descriptions? We will be releasing a new article shortly that goes into more detail surrounding each of the following:

Each of these Phantom Catalysts will allow players to apply a specific trait to their generative Planet, Starfighter or Avatar NFTs. The Gender Catalyst (gender randomly chosen) airdropped to The Hopeful will enable players to select their gender trait, while other Phantom Catalysts will apply a single pre-determined trait.
Players who receive a Phantom Catalyst can choose to use it in the mint for their Avatar/Starfighter/Planet — or, if they aren’t interested in adding that trait, they can sell the Phantom Catalyst NFT!
These Phantom Catalyst NFTs are an exciting new step for Phantom Galaxies, allowing players to author elements of their Generative NFTs and put their personal stamp on their in-game Phantom Galaxies property! This is vital to our core goals of player governance and agency, and we can’t wait to share these next steps with you. Stay tuned for more details!
