The Ceres Quadrant: Recon Phase companion game is live now!

The Phantom Galaxies universe just grew larger… We are expanding beyond the Canis Major Galaxy and the Ensign’s adventures of our main game, with the launch of The Ceres Quadrant: Recon Phase!

The Ceres Quadrant is a Planet companion game, providing an interactive experience for Planet Owners to explore and develop their Planets. With the launch of ‘Recon Phase’, players will be able to send drones on Recon Missions to their Planets, complete Check-Ins via a thrilling minigame to earn an ASTRAFER emission… and even acquire bonus Planets.

Launch into a new planetary space race! Automated drones warp into biohazardous uncharted reaches where no Ranger can tread. Survive the perils of the Serritor Asteroid Field, blasting the hurtling rocks to gather valuable Hermesium from their remains. Illuminate the unknown frontiers of the Ceres Quadrant, and take your first steps towards the future…

Missions and Rewards

When completing Recon Missions in The Ceres Quadrant companion game, Planets will be bound to the Mission for its set duration — preventing them from being moved, sold or used for other Missions until the Active Mission is completed or abandoned.

In this first phase, Planet Holders who complete a Recon Mission with an ordinary Bound Gen-1 Planet are able earn a new Gen-2 Planet Mintpass, i.e. for every Planet that has been Bound for the Mission, a Gen-2 Planet Mintpass of the same size will be rewarded after completion. Note that for each Planet, Recon can only be completed once and complete Check-Ins are necessary to receive your ASTRAFER haul. Players will receive their ASTRAFER once the Mission is completed

Within Missions, players will need to complete regular Check-Ins to earn their ASTRAFER hauls. Their ASTRAFER maximums will be defined by the size of their Planets, and for each Completed Mission, they will receive an even spread of these ASTRAFER earning maximums per Check-In Completed.

Check-Ins

In the ‘Recon Phase,’ complete Check-Ins via our interactive minigame via browser or mobile. Launch forth with a single click! Pilot your probe ship into the perilous Serritor Asteroid Field, keep your ship intact, and fill your hold with valuable Hermesium. Deliver your Hermesium and be rewarded with an ASTRAFER haul!

Wallet Linking

Wallets can be linked between Planet Holders and Players for The Ceres Quadrant: Recon Missions. This is useful if you want to complete Mission Check-Ins in one wallet (a Player Wallet), while holding Planet NFTs in a separate wallet (a Planet Holder Wallet).

Once linked, Check-Ins completed by the Player Wallet will contribute to the assigned Mission, earning rewards for the Planet Holder. Linked Player Wallets will not receive any rewards for Check-In or Mission completion.

The Planet Holder Wallet will not be able to complete Check-Ins for Missions they have assigned, and a Mission can be assigned to only one Player Wallet. Planet Holder and Player Wallets cannot unlink during an Active Mission — the Mission must be abandoned to unlink the wallets before completion, and any progress or rewards will not be saved.

Future phases of The Ceres Quadrant

Beyond the Recon Phase, The Ceres Quadrant companion game will expand into a full 3X style (explore, expand, exploit) and resource-gathering game set on the player’s Generative Planet. Each Planet will consist of different hexagonal tile types, each with unique benefits based on their traits. This Recon Phase represents the first step in exploring a new universe, which will eventually connect to the Canis Major Galaxy you know from the Phantom Galaxies main game.

More information on these future phases is to come… For now, we invite Planet Holders to launch into this new Phantom Galaxies experience, and begin to earn unprecedented rewards!

• Occasionally, you may experience delays with the website page loading. Please allow up to a minute to completely load the companion game and missions — otherwise you can try refreshing the page.
• Once a wallet is connected, we advise not changing to a different one until you have finished setting up your Missions or performing your Check-Ins. Changing your wallet will confuse the webpage and cause issues in loading the companion game and Missions.
