I didn’t try Spacemacs, because I do not want to use preconfigured distribution. I didn’t do that in Vim, and I won’t do that in Emacs, especially. But I have tried to configure emacs that way with Evil mode and everything. And it is double edged sword. Because then I would be using both Emacs and Vim commands. And I won’t be learning Emacs nor I would be learning Vim (Actually I will, but progress would be much slower than sticking with one of these two).
