Couldn’t agree more! On one thing though, I have a different view: tech amplified the problem. Just imagine if people had to handwrite their applications, we wouldn’t have this massive data overload.
I do hope as well that tech will be part of the solution. In the end this is an information and communication problem. People and companies communicate in a bad manner, which leads to wrong expectations and subpar decisions…
However, how to facilitate the more fluffy side of recruiting? How to help at networking, building trust? Requires a huge shift in mindset…
