Danny Steiner I appreciate your response. This is intentionally a different list than you may be used to seeing.
As someone who has been focused on this issue for nearly two decades, I see a lot of things that people miss everyday, and there’s also an entire ecosystem that has grown around trying to solve the problem. An ecosystem that only a small minority of people know about.
My mission is to highlight the solutions that stem from these two perspectives. Most of these points yield change in the person taking the action and others whom they interact with, and/or supporting an entire ecosystem that can multiply positive impact — i.e. creating systemic change. One person going vegetarian or vegan, is just that — one person. (Though I am vegetarian most of the time — unfortunately I recently had to return to eating fish a couple of times a week for health.)
People have been asking “what more can I do” on this issue and others. Most of the people asking that are already familiar with the basics — like going vegetarian. I then see these same people take disposable cups at the coffee shop, etc.
I hope that helps provide some clarity for you.
