Akshay, I fit in many of your thoughts. On 2009 when I left High School, I decided to join a more technical course (Web & Graphic Design) so I would be able to study more focused content, and go back to my small town with a different knowledge. As soon as I got back home, I was hired by a Digital Studio and started working and learning. After 6 months, I entered the Uni to study Digital Technologies, and I can say I didn’t learn a thing. And I was ashamed for the teachers I had, and felt sad for all the hope my classmates were putting on that course, where they never learnt how to code/design/project/prototype systems. We never worked on live projects. Once, I suggested our class could try to redesigb the library online/offline system, that was awful by the way, and OBVIOUSLY the university and teachers made no effort to try to make our idea real. Lets keep in touch! And, I am talking about A Brazilian university ;)
