About the lack of diversity in Rowling’s books: I think the problem is not that in the Nineties was difficult to publish a book with a diverse cast. I just think there wasn’t a real discussion on the topic, especially considering that web and social network, allowing to get to a broader audience, amplified the debate. I just think there was a lack of education there. I’m not trying to justify her. We can hope she changes her attitude in future books — even not Harry Potter books.
