Great photography is an essential part of any travel experience and none more so than the selfie. In an age where tourists are literally dying to get the perfect selfie, PicCities is proud to announce the launch of the Ultimate Selfie Quest (and it’s all perfectly safe!).
PicCities is an experiential tour guide in your pocket.
We’ve created city tours (we call them Quests) of all the best things in London — from the best foodie spots, to historic East End hangouts. All curated by our travel and photography experts to find exactly the perfect spot and angle to capture the moment.
But that’s not all — we have uniquely located, high-mounted cameras (ask us about the tech) placed around London with a perfect locked-off shot. Simply connect with our app and snap the best selfie you’ve ever taken.
So what about the tech? Our mounted camera boxes contain Canon DSLRs attached to a Raspberry Pi, wifi router and 4g dongle that allows customers to connect to and see a live video stream from the cameras when they are in range. Users snap away for 2 minutes capturing as many photos as they can.
Currently PicCities is available only in the iTunes App Store.
