You really don’t have a clue about what you just posted, do you?

  1. Those images do not show serotonin in brain, but serotonin axons. They come from a very famous study done in 1999 by Hatzidimitriou G, McCann UD, Ricaurte GA.
  2. Those images represent slices of monkey brains, and not human brains.
  3. Those monkeys were given extreme doses of MDMA. 5 mg/kg 2 times a day during 4 days. A recreational dose of MDMA is about 1mg/kg so about 5 times lower. It’s like giving someone a few bottles of whisky every day during 4 days. Of course it will cause some form of damage. Even common substances like salt will kill you at extreme doses but we eat it every day on small doses.
  4. And even with those very extreme doses no brain cells were damaged, only axons.
