The fun fact for me (as European) is that nobody is mentioning the HUGE elephant in the room: I have (mostly) free healthcare, enjoyed a very low tuition for my 2 degrees and I have access to a safety net if I lose my job. You DON’T.

I agree that it isn’t her boss’ fault, and probably I’ve made even greater sacrifices than her, but I understand her point. As long as you won’t be talking about the above three little things, you’ll have people like her and even worse.

I think that this generation will start to look to a broader welfare as an opportunity and not as a pure cost.
