Introducing Penguins of The Month — raffle contest
TL;DR:
- What: Win Pudgy Penguins NFTs and $PINGU tokens by using Pingu. This is the first edition of Penguins of The Month.
35 winners will be randomly selected. - Why: Pingu is the Mr. Beast of Perp DEXs, it will always redistribute most of its profits in various forms to its users.
- Who: Open to all traders and poolers.
- When: Contest begins April 10, 10am UTC, ends on May 10, 10am UTC
- How: Earn points by trading, pooling, and earn a bonus equivalent to 15% of your referees points.
- Prizes: Total prize pool currently estimated at about $100k USD, including Pudgy Penguins NFTs and $PINGU tokens.
- Mechanics: The trading/pooling ratio is 2:1, based on historical data. For every 50,000 points, you receive 1 ticket. Points accumulate from fees paid and funds pooled.
- Raffle: Each ticket gives you a chance to win Prizes. Winners are chosen through a provably fair on-chain contract. Each address can win a maximum of one prize.
- Claiming Prizes: Available via the dashboard for 7 days; all unclaimed prizes roll over to next month prizes.

The contest is open to everyone, welcoming both traders and poolers (Liquidity providers on Pingu), no matter their level of experience.
Whether you’re a seasoned trader, new to trading, or a pooler, you will be eligible for prizes.
It’s a great opportunity to engage with our vibrant community, learn, compete, and potentially secure significant rewards.
Prizes Overview
With a prize pool about $100k USD for our first edition, the competition is exciting, and everyone stands a chance to win any of these cool penguin-themed rewards.
The main attraction of our contest is the amazing penguin-themed prizes, It only makes sense that Pingus win Penguin prizes:
- Pudgy Penguins (current floor 12.1 ETH) NFTs
- Lil Pudgys (current floor 1 ETH) NFTs
- 100k $PINGU tokens.
Mechanisms and Rules
Our recurring contests utilize a ticket system that rewards participants based on their activity, be it through trading, pooling, or referrals.
We’ve established a trading/pooling ratio of 2 to 1 based on historical activity.
You earn one raffle ticket every 50,000 points accrued.
As a trader, 50,000 points represents $62.5 in trading fees spent.
As a pooler, you will earn 6 points for every $1 pooled for 24 hours. Hence, 50,000 points represents $8333 pooled for 24 hours, or $277 pooled for 30 days.
The more you points you accrue, the better your chances of winning!
Each address can win up to 1 prize. E.g when the winner of prize #1 is selected, this address won’t be eligible for more prizes for the current month.
How to Participate
Nothing fancy, all things easy:
- Trade and/or pool on Pingu.
- Earn points through your transactions: 800 points for every USD in fees paid, and 6 points for every 1$ pooled for a period of 24 hours.
- Accumulate points to earn tickets (50,000 pts = 1 ticket).
- Each ticket gives you a chance to win a prize.
- At the end of the contest, you will have 7 days to claim your prize.
Raffle and Prize Claiming
A transparent raffle system will determine the winners, using a provably fair on-chain contract. Winners will be displayed on the dashboard at the end of the contest, and a 7 days window will open to claim prizes. Unclaimed prizes roll over to the next month’s contest.
