Of course it is a thing! I live in an underdeveloped country and online transactions are rarely carried out here due to the lack of cyber security and consequential cyber hacking. I cannot pay for any additional space on my iCloud Drive. I have to live with the 5GB given to me. Similarly I cannot buy iTunes music directly from the store. You may ask,

Then how do you download music legally in the first place?

Well the line gets blurred here. But the point is, I need iTunes. Otherwise I cannot have music on it, I cannot avail many features. I cannot back up too.

iTunes is an essential for me. If it has to go, there better be an alternative…
