Polygon PXP Brace Yourself For The Gate is About to Open!
We are getting closer to the launch of POLYGON PXP, the new PXP experience on the new chain to solve issues regarding the earning aspect of the game. In this version of PXP, players will be earning more efficiently. Details can be found below:
1.How to play
The gameplay remains the same as it is now in BSC (BEP-20) with adjustments to the investment and earning.
2.How to earn in Polygon PXP
2.1) Players earn in USDC, which will solve the fluctuation issue. The systems will be easier to roll out. Liquidity pool is not required in this model, thus no token listing. Inflation will be a thing of the past. We will be able to focus on $PXP price improvement.
2.2) In-game rewards will become “Doubloons” which can be converted to USDC in the 1:1 ratio.
2.3) Earning in Polygon PXP will be around 25 times higher compared to BSC PXP (calculated from the current price of $PXP).
- A win is rewarded 1.25 Doubloon
- A tie is rewarded 0.8 Doubloons
- A loss is rewarded 0.375 Doubloons
2.4) A win rate of 53.3% is the break-even point.
2.5) You can convert your Doubloons into USDC once a week before a round closes at 5AM UTC every Thursday. You will be able to claim your USDC as of 8AM UTC after the round closes.
- The minimum amount for conversion is 7 Doubloons. There is no maximum limit. However, conversion must be done with an integer only (no decimals).
2.6) No more Armor, Repair, and Supplies. You will only spend “Command Points” to play a PVP battle, which will be stored in the wallet, not bound to the ships.
2.7) There will be bots to help reduce waiting time for PVP.
3.To start playing Polygon PXP, you have two options:
3.1) Buy a new NFT set (1 ship, 1 captain, and 2 crew members) on Polygon for 105 USDC each. You will also receive 120 Command Points.
3.2) Transfer your ships from BSC PXP to Polygon PXP. This way, you will only have to purchase Command Points (CPs) in order to start playing on Polygon. There will be 3 packages available:
- USDC 10 for 10 CPs.
- USDC 50 for 55 CPs.
- USDC 100 for 120 CPs
Transferring NFTs from BSC to Polygon costs $PXP2,000 per instance. However, you can transfer any number of NFTs in any combination of Ships, Captains, and Crew Members in one instance.
**IMPORTANT: ฺNFTs can only be transferred from BSC to Polygon. Once a transfer is complete, it cannot be undone.
3.3) You can exchange Doubloons for CPs in the following rates:
- 10 Doubloons for 10 CPs
- 49 Doubloons for 55 CPs
- 98 Doubloons for 120 CPs
3.4) Special promotion for ship transfer: Receive free 5 CPs when transferring your first ship during the promotion to earn as much as USDC 6.25. More details are coming soon.
4.How to log into the game.
You will be using the same PXP game client you are using to play PXP on BSC right now. With a bit of tweaks as follows:
4.1) Log into the game website with your Metamask wallet connected to the Polygon network.
4.2) Once logged in, create your new username and password for the PVP client. (Username must be different from that in BSC.)
4.3) Log into the game client with your Polygon username and password.
How to transfer your NFTs from BSC to Polygon
- Change your network to Polygon Mainnet on Metamask.
2.Log into the game website via Metamask.
3.You must log into the PXP website with Polygon Mainnet Metamask at least once to activate your Polygon account.
4.Hit “Link Username” and create your username and password for Polygon PXP.
Go back to PXP on the Smart Chain network >> check out the “Bridge” tab. You can select NFTs you want to transfer from BSC. The number of NFTs to transfer in unlimited. Each transfer costs 2,000 $PXP.
6.Once the transfer is complete. Log into the Polygon Mainnet network and check out the Bridge tab. Your NFTs transferred from BSC should be available to claim here.
The Polygon PXP is expected to launch early December along with the PVP gameplay, bridge, store, and CP refill systems. The conversion system will be launched a week after.
