Walls That Comfort Us:

a view of our tendency

This story comes in many parts. Beginning is arduous work as this writer attempts to portion the impassioned position I now hold, as the condition of “housed” leaves me in full measure, and I assume the new condition that comes with a P.O. Box only. In other words, the landlord has chosen not to renew our lease.

This is the place where the reader becomes complicit. The place where I finally feel the satisfaction of outing you.

I am, as is my habit, eager to be honest and forthcoming with the nature of this thing growing by leaps and bounds, thrusting the common population backwards. I hope you have the courage to actually look.

As a sidenote, Hilary is merely a reflection of you, and Donald is just a vehicle. The person steeped in our founding principles, victim to our lost status as a free and equitable nation, removed. The machine, more than anything else, knows you.

Removing the corporate and cutesy jargon from our language, our story telling is critical. Only then will we face our truth, my truth, your truth, and their truth. Some of that truth is that;

Family is only valued in an election cycle. Just as children are expendable if the purpose is politically expedient. We have rendered our elders useless but for the profit to wearhouse, feed, and force expensive meds on them. Our much flouted millennials are tools, not “the revolution". Argue with me, and don’t forget that google is not an accepted source.

Family, like everything else in our nation today, is a commodity to those who have much and yearn for more. Where we live is decided and managed by the moneychangers. Where we spend our labor is to the benefit of the money holders. Of course, those who compromise their constitutional principles, find themselves minimally rewarded. Small business owning wannabes are daydreaming pimps to the elite. And yes, there are those who have, and live by the principals that had the potential to further our principals of compassionate living, but they are dying out.

What follows is the time honoured act of storytelling that illuminates. If you have the capacity to face your fears, respect the sacrifice that accompanies this form of sharing, you may find yourself in a well lit space enabled to understand others, which is the prerequisite to making informed decisions about adequate governors as our nation loses all sight of where we were going.
