Apple doesn’t care about the power users

I switched to Arch Linux since august and haven’ t been back in OS X since.

Yes there are some problems but overall it’s the platform for power users. It takes a week or 2 to adapt and configure everything like you want, but it just work.

I just ordered a 400 euro desktop pc (building it myself, I know not something everybody can/will do) that probably blows most macs now out of the water.

All of this coming from a huge apple fanboy, who has queued for several product launches and even made it in a video shown at a keynote by His Steveness.

(Also thinking about setting up a kick ass server with virtual machines for the family and have everybody work on very low end machines. It should be possible. :-) but that’s another topic.)
