How To Instagram From Your Computer

Instagram is the most popular Social Media Applications for people who enjoy sharing pictures of literally, everything.
It has become one of the most widely used applications and continues to grow with new features added, sometimes cloned from Snapchat. What can’t be denied is that Instagram was a great investment for FaceBook to make and has become one of the social platforms that’s been difficult for businesses to utilize for promoting content that’s not natively uploaded to the platform. Unless they pay for ads.
Instagram is App Focused
One thing you may notice about Instagram is it’s mostly app based. Unlike other social media websites that have both sites and apps, Instagram is app focused. They do have a website, and you can log into it and engage in a minimal sense but uploading natively from the website isn’t something you can do. You could try using a third party application to do this, but that’s not always a good option. But why can’t you upload via the website? Well, actually, you can.
As a Web Designer & Developer
I’m always using the developer tools in each of the main browsers. From Chrome, to Firefox, Edge and Safari.
One thing I’ve noticed is that it’s possible, actually very easy to get Instagram to let you upload via the browser using the developer tools, albeit in different ways for each browser.
I previously created a video on how to upload via chrome. You can see that video here.
But my latest video is the one that shows you how to use any browser on any computer, both windows and mac, to upload photos directly to Instagram.
Why Would you want to upload via your Computer?
While our smart phones are very powerful pieces of technology, with apps to beautify and add filters our photos, editing a picture on a more powerful computer with software like photoshop, can make a very good picture look amazing.
So watch the video and see how easy it is to upload pictures directly to Instagram, add your content and hashtags, without using a third party app or using cloud based tools like dropbox.
