MetaGods is excited to bring our first NFT land sale to the community, which is set to raise our game to a superior level of both active and passive income.

Our most hardcore supporters are already testing our Game Preview Engine as development takes shape every day, where the fast-paced action of MetaGods gameplay is being showcased beautifully. $MGOD staking and cross-game staking have also been ongoing for some time, and now we’re ready to introduce another key method to EARN in MetaGods — LAND ownership.

Early investors such as Mr. Beast, Myrtle Sarrosa, Joshua Abrera, and several of our gaming guild partners already own land in MetaGods as they are aware of the advantages and benefits this will bring in future. Soon, it will be everyone’s chance to get a piece of the action!

What is LAND in MetaGods?

LAND will be an important part of MetaGods gameplay. The ecosystem highly benefits LAND owners, providing various passive revenue streams.

A piece of LAND is a 1x1 grid that is a part of a Dungeon (10x10) in the MetaGods world. The main gameplay of MetaGods takes place in the Dungeons across the realm, each governed by a God Boss (e.g. Zeus), and filled with deadly monsters and legendary loot.

The LANDs that make up the Dungeon can be owned by users of the MetaGods ecosystem! There are 35 Dungeons in the MetaGods world and 3,500 plots of LAND are available.

Users can purchase LAND with $MGOD or $BNB by PICKING and CHOOSING your favorable plots. Lands come in 1x1, 2x2 or 4x4. The larger plot you own, the more rewards and passive income you can earn!

True LAND Ownership (Asymmetrical Gaming)

By owning LAND, you own portions of MetaGods. You become a part of the game! When players perish in your Dungeon, their legendary loot is dropped and rewarded to LAND owners.

MetaGods revolutionizes the narrative of gaming because by owning LAND, you “control” the Boss and Monsters within the Dungeon, battling anyone who crosses your path. There is no penalty if your Boss is slain because it is technically not a playable character affected by NFT permadeath.

Rewards are distributed among multiple LAND owners within a Dungeon via a raffle, based on the percentage of LAND they own. The more LAND you own, the higher chance you have of acquiring the loot which can be used or traded in the marketplace for profit.

For example, if you own a 4x4 LAND in a full-house Dungeon, you have a 16% chance of acquiring the dropped loot.

MetaGods has partnered with Chainlink to use their VRF function to accurately determine where the dropped loot will go, ensuring verifiable fairness for all LAND owners.

Build On LAND To Increase Your Earnings

Owners can construct Buildings on their LAND to provide valuable infrastructure to expand and maintain their economy as well as powering up their NFTs. $RELIC and resource consumption will be a core gameplay mechanic to regulate the inflation of $RELIC.

Economic Buildings — Increase resource production to facilitate more trading of $RELIC
Military Buildings — Provide powerful buffs and NFT utilities

Players can upgrade their Buildings for increased efficiency and decreased upkeep costs, yielding higher return on investment.

We will also feature limited-edition collectible Buildings such as the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World for owners to display their rare ownership.

Guild-Building on LAND

LAND is also the backbone of Guild development. All members can use certain Buildings to upgrade their NFT power while LAND owners can earn passive income in the process.

Members can rendezvous on Guild LAND to participate in exclusive activities and campaigns such as special Dungeon raids or PvP tournaments.

Guild members can pool resources and $RELIC together to upgrade facilities. Resource mobilization and management simulates the dynamics of microeconomics and macroeconomics within the game.

Be sure to participate in our upcoming LAND sale to ensure you own a piece of the MetaGods game. Simply purchase your piece of LAND to earn dropped loot and other rewards in perpetuity, or until you decide to upgrade and increase rewards, or sell for a profit.

MetaGods gives gamers the choice to earn actively by playing Dungeon missions, as well as passively by earning rewards from LAND ownership within those Dungeons. Use both character NFTs and LAND in the same Dungeon and it’s really a win-win situation!

Owners can customize the logo and name of their LAND plus acquire badges and titles to showcase their ownership status (e.g. Medusa Master, Zeus Enforcer). They gain exclusive access to the LAND Owner Club in the Nexus.

On top of that, LAND owners get to be in contact with other LAND owners, this includes direct communication with well-known investors such as Mr. Beast, a popular Youtuber amassing 91.2M followers as of today; Myrtle Sarrosa, filippino actress, pioneer Content Creator and Investor for Play-To-Earn and NFT Games in the Philippines and; Joshua Abrera, a Pro-player for MMORPG Games and a crypto investor that helped build the Philippine Peer-To-Peer Trading Community in Axie Infinity.

Future Plans: Own LAND & Stake For The Complete Dungeon Experience

Look forward to mission staking in the future where players can stake their character NFTs in Dungeon Missions to earn $RELIC tokens.

If the mission is successful, players will receive $RELIC rewards, and LAND owners will earn a small fee from the winnings. If the mission fails, all $RELIC rewards will be distributed to LAND owners in the Dungeon.

About MetaGods

MetaGods is an 8-bit, play-to-earn action RPG where players fight against the gods on the path to ascension. Each character NFT is created by the union of mortals, demigods, and titans. They will team up with each other and fight epic bosses, while slowly becoming true gods themselves.

The game works with a dual token system. The $MGOD and $RELIC are the two tokens of the platform. $MGOD is used as the governance token of the project and can be used to enter special events. $RELIC is an earnable in-game currency that supports the play-to-earn structure of MetaGods.
