July Promotion — Bonus Perk Announcement, Free Cards & More!
We recently announced our Plutus Perks programme as well as our affiliate partnerships with household name brands to provide you with both crypto rewards and cashback, giving you double the benefits for your everyday purchases.
Over the next weeks and months, we’ll continue to release and add new levels and categories to our Plutus Perks programme to keep it rewarding and interesting. This week, we are proud to reveal a range of promotional benefits to all our customers, both old and new.
- This includes a bonus level for Perks that gives all our users 5% back in crypto on any purchase made at Amazon! Yes, 5% crypto rewards even for Starter accounts at one of the world’s largest online retail giants, no subscription fee or staking required.
- To welcome new users, we have also temporarily removed the £/€9.99 Debit Card fee associated with the card order on the Starter account (for a limited time only).
For the duration of July, our Starter service is therefore completely free to sign up to, and new users can instantly enjoy a slick Plutus Debit Card with 5% crypto rewards (PLU) on all purchases made at Amazon. This is a great opportunity to trial the Plutus app and enjoy a snippet of our available Perks.
What are we doing for our current users?
As a thank you for being our customer, all our Premium & Pro users will enjoy a month off their subscription (£/€ 4.99 and £/€ 7.99) on us for the whole of July — we couldn’t have done it without you.
Any new users on the Starter account who wish to increase their limits and upgrade to a Premium account can still do so by redeeming 1 PLU instead of paying the £/€4.99 for the month.
How does the Bonus level work (Amazon)?
- Users on the Starter, Premium and Pro account will see the bonus level unlocked without any staking required on their Perks dashboard.
- View the bonus level and visit the Amazon store.
- Copy the URL of the item you would like to purchase and paste it in the available field.
- Repeat for any additional products and then proceed to checkout.
Please Note: Most Plutus Perks offers include both the crypto reward and cashback giving you double the benefits, however, for Amazon it will be a flat 2% PLU reward on top of your standard 3% giving you a total of 5% back in crypto as opposed to two separate rewards.
How will the Amazon Perk work post-July?
The bonus level is currently unlocked for all accounts without any staking required for a limited time only. Early next month, Amazon will be moved to a level 5 Perk where staking PLU is required to unlock it, and it will only be available for Premium and Pro users with a variable crypto reward rate.
From August onwards:
- Premium members with sufficient PLU can enjoy a varied rate back in PLU at Amazon
- Pro members with sufficient PLU can enjoy the maximum 5% back in PLU at Amazon
Change to Fees and Tariff
We are also changing our fee and tariff structure from late next month to accommodate the fuller feature set being released. Our current users will not be affected by these changes until the end of the year and we have ensured that the benefits of using our paid services still far outweigh the monthly costs whilst retaining a sustainable business model.
The Premium account will be priced at £/€9.99 and the Pro account will cost £/€16.99 per month. There will also be changes made to the withdrawal fees for fiat on both of these accounts, these will be lowered and will be free on the Pro account. There will also be changes made to the Starter account to give our free users a preview of our Premium features before they decide to upgrade. There will be no changes to the 1.75% conversion rate on the Starter accounts and one PLU will still be redeemable for a month of Plutus Premium. Complete details will be released in due course.
Please note: Our current users on the Premium/Pro accounts (who paid for subscription by fiat until 15/07/2020) will not be affected by these fee changes. As a thank you for supporting us, you will enjoy the previous low tariffs up until 31st December 2020.

The team has also implemented a liquidity solution for the PlutusDEX which has greatly improved the speed at which your token/fiat swap orders are matched. What to expect next?
In the upcoming weeks — we will also be releasing the much-awaited PLU withdrawal feature. Every valid reward you earn back in crypto can now be withdrawn to your own wallet or swapped for GBP or EUR to fund your Plutus Current Account* or Debit Card. This will be followed by the external wallet staking feature which will unlock additional cash rewards and benefits.
Over the last few years, we have focused on our product first and managed to deliver a one-of-a-kind crypto-to-fiat finance app built on the spirit of blockchain technology. We are now moving our focus to awareness of the product by engaging the community and increasing token exposure on third party services in order to bring value to the overall Plutus ecosystem.
