There is exciting news for our supporters and crypto! We are temporarily closing access to the BETA until (and including) Monday, 12th March before activating LIVE cryptocurrency and payment support. This is a big step forward to reaching our vision, and will see real value flowing through the network for the first time.
Today, on the 6th of March, we debuted this feature at the Finovate Europe conference at the ExCeL London, showcasing cutting-edge banking and financial technology in a unique demo-only format.
What does this mean?
- Thousands of users on our waiting list will receive a download link for the Android version of the Tap and Pay app (read below for more news on iOS).
- The users will be able to order their Plutus cards from within the app only.
- Crowdsale participants will receive preference during the queued order processing.
- Users will be required to go through the basic level 1 KYC applicable to order their cards. Only users in the EEA region will be able to receive their cards.
- Once the cards are received, all users will be able to deposit up to 150 GBP / 170 EUR worth of Pluton (PLU) during the initial beta phase. This limit will be removed for the second phase of public beta which will be live in 4–6 weeks. We are doing this for several reasons:
1. In order to provide the customer services experience that users expect, we need to scale our structure from customer feedback and the metrics gathered from our support ticket reporting system during the initial public beta.
2. Gather feedback to provide a better users experience and fix any bugs if discovered.
3. Why only Pluton? It is the only premier token accepted on the app which provides instant conversions to fiat and its completely free to use. As a result, the app will be 0% fee during the first phase of public beta (BTC and ETH deposits will be unlocked at a later date once tests are complete and we start charging fees).
4. Proof that the system works as outlined in the white paper.
Please Note: Since Plutus DEX is a new technology and a first of its kind, we can not allow users to deposit fiat currency on the platform and create orders until further testing is done. During the initial phase of up to 4–6 weeks of beta all orders fulfilled on the app will be done by funds provided by Plutus to test several important order matching and blockchain tracking features with several thousands users on board. We will only allow users to deposit fiat currency and create orders once all these tests are successfully complete and the second phase of beta is launched.
So far, we have internally tested live cryptocurrencies on our team-only platform, and our devs have confirmed that basic functionality works correctly. For our new versions, we’ve also fixed numerous miscellaneous bugs, made small UX changes on the balance page to make it easier to read, and improved logins as well as logging and internal services.

The important news!
As already mentioned above, we are releasing a fully integrated “fiat money and mainnet digital currency” stack for our BETA members. Simply put, this means that real money will be used on the platform.
Note that while everything is moved to the production server, everyone including the Plutus team will be locked out of the DEX and app. Deployment takes two to four days. This includes internal testing, which once successful, will let us open access to all our current members.
Furthermore, we have greatly improved KYC/AML verification. This means that it will now be possible to approve new users much more quickly, and scale up access to all of the Plutus.it services we have in store for you. Our debit cards are shipping and Plutoneers are getting ready.
