Welcome to another installment of the Plutus Weekly Report, it has been a proactive week at Plutus.it, and with significant progress made in the last few days, we now prepare for a lot more.
Today’s installment is threefold. First, we have released a brand new website, which is live now on the front page http://plutus.it and offers a better user experience.
Second, the big news: Plutus Tap and Pay v0.5 is out and ready to be downloaded by members of our BETA test. If you are not a member yet, make sure sign up to the waiting list on http://plutus.it
And last but not least, while our development team has been making incredible progress in a short amount of time, you’ll also be glad to hear that our marketing campaigns have been significantly boosted as well. Exciting times! Read on to find out more.
After much deliberation and review, we have now launched the brand new design of our front page. Head over to http://plutus.it to take a look at the fantastic new Plutus aesthetic designed by our resident graphics virtuoso, Filippos Protogeridis.
As primarily a payments company and a cryptocurrency company second, we have been preparing to be able to slowly build towards a wide mainstream audience in both of these sectors. The new page illustrates the practical applications of Plutus and at the same time provides an excellent template for advertising non-crypto services that Plutus may potentially offer in the future.

Alongside the release of our new site, our audience reach has greatly expanded. In cooperation with our Head of Marketing Peter Panayi, we have launched several online campaigns, our sponsorship at Consensus 2018 and the Finnovate Summit.
This week alone we had an article published by Verdict Magazine extolling the virtues of Plutus (posted below), and are preparing an exclusive press event for even more exposure. Other articles specifically in the crypto space are already on their way.
Plutus Tap & Pay for Android has reached version v0.5. Our dev team has implemented a significant amount of improvements and changes, as well as laid the groundwork for the next big update.
Complete KYC verification is now available and accessible through your mobile device, with additional error handling and validation rules. We’ve added a splash screen and several UI/UX adjustments on the front-end, as well as numerous security and stability fixes on backend infrastructure.
For example: some users with older versions of Android were experiencing various bugs regarding login and usage of the app, which have now been resolved.
What’s next?
The Pluton reward system is now being implemented internally and in the next version will be able to keep track of your PLU earnings automatically. In our upcoming steps, we are further pursuing integration with a new payment provider for accepting deposits from all over the world, as well as bringing our internal iOS alpha version up to speed.
