The launch of the PlutusDEX BETA has been a great success so far, feedback is pouring in, and we will be unlocking new features as we continue along on our journey.
Our dedicated team has already made incremental updates to the inner workings of the PlutusDEX based on your early feedback. Let’s take a look at the newest updates so far.
Successfully Completed PlutusDEX Development Milestones
- Algorithmic order matching, a key feature of the platform, has been added and enabled.
- Fully automatic KYC verification has been improved and enabled. This means that in optimal scenarios, verification is nearly instantaneous. In other cases, KYC verification will only take 24 to 48 hours to complete.
- Full testing coverage has been developed for every part of the platform which handles any type of currency, including edge cases.
- Progress has been made towards launching Tap & Pay through close cooperation with our payments provider.
- Implemented Two Factor Authentication, which will be deployed to the PlutusDEX BETA next week.
- Upgraded exchange rates microservice and chart components to update their information every minute for increased accuracy.
- Live tracker functionality has been tested and enabled. The live tracker was tested on transactions on both the BTC and ETH blockchains. Testing covers edge cases as well as error handling.
- Fixed responsive layout for password functionality, which rendered it inaccessible for certain users.
- Fixed discrepancies in the definition of timezones, which caused the loading of the dashboard to freeze for some users.
- Fixed minor bugs related to rounding errors.
- Implemented numerous improvements and bug fixes of related to the UI of the on-boarding process and trading view.
- Fixed a bug where loading the page for the first time would not display the latest available exchange rate.
- Unlocked changes in deposit funds flow, adding additional validation and a proper callback page for the BETA environment.
- Unlocked changes necessary for successful creation of buy orders.
- All users who have previously passed KYC now have the ability to create deposits as well as buy orders. When creating a deposit, use 00000 as your sort code or BIC for EUR. Or choose the demo bank for GBP. Our quick videos below will guide you step by step through the process. (Depictions may vary.)
