Daniel, I just re-read that beautiful post you wrote in May, a week after your wife died. It’s only been 3 months; I admire your tremendous courage in sharing that. I don’t understand why you’re blaming yourself for Victoria’s death; you may be a scientist, but you weren’t responsible for the asthma attack that claimed her life. It was a terrible tragedy, and not at all your fault. The you that comes through in your writing is a compassionate, empathetic, authentic, gentle, human being.
