I hear what you’re saying. I meant that I find I’m learning to approach things differently, and I can do it without having to unlearn something. I take shitty or challenging experiences and try new approaches, or at least do some serious analysis as to why I behaved a certain way. For me, dialectical behavior therapy, and its first tenet, mindfulness, has been a literal lifesaver.
