Not enough gas on AURORA? No worries!
U might know that Aurora is no longer feeless. You need some ETH for gas and we’re happy to help you with all the possibilities.
1. I used ETHEREUM or AURORA before
If you ever made any transaction on Aurora or you have 0.05 ETH on Ethereum you can requst small amount of ETH from official Aurora Faucet. Simply connect your metamask and you will see whether your wallet is eligible. If you see this message:
This option is not for you.
2. I have never used ETHEREUM nor AURORA before
To avoid high ethereum fees, luckily for you, you can swap your NEAR for ETH via Ref Finance and use a bridge to transfer ETH from Near protocol to Aurora.
- If you don’t have your NEAR on your NEAR wallet simply send some from your favorite CEX.
- Open https://app.ref.finance/ and wrap your NEAR to wNEAR (do not forget to leave some NEAR for gas!)
3. Swap your wNEAR to ETH
4. Open https://rainbowbridge.app/transfer
5. Select ETH and amount you want to bridge
6. Confirm the transaction (Check out the brutal fee)
7. Wait few seconds and voilà.
3. I’m a whale, I don’t care about the fees
Easy for you. Use https://rainbowbridge.app/transfer to transfer your ETH from Ethereum to Aurora.
