The White House Cancer Moonshot budget fact sheet, released on Feb. 1, 2016, says the Obama administration has requested nearly $800 million in additional fiscal year 2017 funds to support the Cancer Moonshot effort; more here: https://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/2016/02/01/fact-sheet-investing-national-cancer-moonshot. Approximately $680 million is proposed for the National Institutes of Health and approximately $75 million for the Food and Drug Administration.
