AAP on the brink of devastation

“Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) while kicking off its political campaign assured people utmost democracy, people’s power and uncompromised transparency. And, now with AAP drifting from its basic tenets, even those who backed the AAP ideology are feeling robbed.”

What bean in the aftermath of Anna’s protest that was against dynasty rule, corruption, lack of transparency, misuse of public wealth got a new shape when Arvind Kejriwal aganin Anna’s wish decided to found a political party, saying that there cannot be any other way than to be a part of this dirty cluster with an aim to clean dirt called ‘Indian politics’.

False hope of ‘Change’

Disillusioned Indians buried under the weight of dynasty politics and corruption-ridden governance saw him a change agent who would turnaround things. But to their shock and disbelief it turned out to be hype created with dirty intention of accumulating power. The problem with experiment called AAP is lack of vision and ideology. In the absence of any vision statement, public is misled on false hopes and tall claims.

Corruption free governance, a sham!

It is pertinent that AAP came to power with a commitment eradicate corruption from roots but in the last one year since it cam to power innumerable scams have surfaced. Stings, allegations, counter-allegations were marred the functioning of AAP government, which phenomenally won voters’ mandate in the Delhi legislative polls of 2015.

Power has become the only objective of its legislatures with mud sliging and internal feud becoming the norm. The divide has now come into the public domain, something that is taking away the fundamentals for which people voted in favor of the AAP.

One of the biggest promises of AAP was to ally itself with people’s betterment, something that has been left utterly unheeded since the party came into power in Delhi.
