So called “Nationalist” leaders of AAP insulted National Flag
“Arvind Kejriwal’s so called clean image leaders have not only disrespected the emotions of the country’s people but they have insulted the National Flag, “Tiranga” openly in front of the public.”
The Fekriwal has forgotten that thousands of soldiers sacrificed their lives to protect our national flag. The country’s history speaks up about the incidents when people put their lives on stake to hoist the national flag during the British regime in the country.
Freedom fighter Aruna Asif Ali despite ignoring the Britons hoisted the national flag.
Comrade Harkishan Singh Surjeet who was also participating in the freedom struggle unfurled the flag despite ignoring the continuous firing of the British police.
Paramveer Chakra awardee Capt Vikram Batra had told the media during Kargil war that either he will hoist “Tiranga” on Tiger hill or he will come backed in the wrapped in it. Batra was not successful to raise the flag but his body came back in wrapped flag. He sacrificed his life for the country and set an example for the youth.
The newly formed party, Aam Aadmi Party who had talked about the nationalism is indulging in the anti-nationalist activities. The party leaders have started insulting the national honours. In Varanasi on Monday, the spokesman of AAP Sanjay Singh along with other leaders insulted the National Flag. When the AAP supporters walked on the national flag Singh was the silent spectator and when the people tried to stop the supporters, they started beating the people in front of Singh.
Sanjay Singh should have stopped its workers to insult the flag but he was the part of the activity. A case against Singh has been registered under section 2/3 Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act for insulting “Tiranga”.
This is not the first incident when the AAP leaders have shown that they are anti-nationals. In Punjab, the AAP leaders have supported the “Khalistan movement” by distributing the posters of Kejriwal with slain militant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale.
In Delhi, AAP students’ wing supporters had raised slogans in favour of Pakistan and they had observed the death anniversary of the hanged militant, Afzal Guru. Later, the party openly supported the incident.
Arvind Kejriwal should submit his resignation on moral grounds so that he should apologise to the residents of this country.
