The Boomers Killed Tradition
Alex Ellison

I’m 50, part of GenX. And I do wake my daughter up at the exact time of her birth, and have for the last 15 years. We go to church on Christmas Eve; her father and I take her birthday off to spend it with her. We play Christmas carols and drink hot chocolate while we decorate the tree. We play corny scary CDs for trick or treaters. So. I suppose my point is: stop whining. No one took your traditions away. Create your own, with your family/friends.
