The Web 3 space is expanding, and many games are being built for Web 3. But as of today, more people play on the console than on the PC, and most Web 3 games are only available on the PC.
Polium One Console
Polium is building the world’s first multi-chain gaming console. The console will be built by the community. It will be capable of running games that are built on different blockchains. Users will be able to play games that are on ImmutableX, Solana, Ethereum, Polygon, BNB, EOS, Wax, and Harmony without needing to switch networks.
The console will be easy to use for a traditional gamer who doesn’t understand Web 3. Not only will this solve a problem, but it will also bring mass adoption into the Web 3 space.
Polium One Controller
The Polium One controller will have a Fingerprint scanner for an added layer of security. Users will be required to scan their Fingerprint when making transactions and after the console is powered on.
The controller will have a wallet button so that users can quickly make trades while in a game.
Buy & Trade NFTs
The Marketplace app will be an app on the console where users can Buy & Trade Non-Game and In-Game NFTs.
Multi-chain Wallet
The console will have its own multi-chain wallet for trading, swapping, staking, and receiving cryptocurrency.
Discover Games, Metaverses & Apps
Users will be able to discover and play Games, Metaverses, and Apps that are published on the Polium Store.
Leaderboard
We want to build a console where winning and losing count, so we came up with the idea to combine all compatible games into one leaderboard. Players will move up the leaderboard by winning, earning trophies, and voting on proposals. The more you win, the more you earn. Not only will this make gaming more competitive and fun, but it will also keep users engaged with the console.
Release Date & Pre-Order
The estimated release date is Q3 2024. We are currently developing the hardware for the console. The hardware will be custom, and the CPU/GPU will be provided by NVIDIA. We will provide more information on the specifications later this year. We will build the software on top of Linux.
We will take pre-orders before the console’ software and hardware is entirely built. This will help us gather customer feedback, ideas, and validation. You will be able to pre-order the console with a credit or debit card on our official website. The estimated date for pre-order is November 2022.
Built by the community
The community will help us build the console’s hardware and software. We will have a channel on Discord for the community to share their ideas and vote on the features they would like to see on the console.
